A team of expert clinicians and researchers, led by IamGSD President Dr. Stacey Reason, has developed internationally agreed Clinical Practice Guidelines for GSD V (McArdle disease) and GSD VII (Tarui disease).

These systematically developed guidelines now outline diagnostic and management recommendations, including emergencies, for these two conditions.

The guidelines were published in the December 2021 issue of Neuromuscular Disorders, the official journal of the World Muscle Society. A PDF is available online together with 18 pages of supplementary information.
