ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION
IamGSD was incorporated as a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation on 22 November 2016. The Articles of Association may be downloaded here.
BYLAWS
The Corporation does not have members within the meaning of Section 5056 of the Corporations Code of the State of California, and shall be governed by the Board in accordance with these Bylaws. Any action that otherwise requires approval of the members under the Corporations Code shall require only the approval of the Board. The Corporation may from time to time use the term “members” to refer to persons associated with it, but such persons shall not be members within the meaning of Section 5056 of the Corporations Code. NON-PROFIT STATUS
IamGSD has obtained tax exemption in the State of California.
IamGD is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue
Code (IRC) Section 501(c) (3). Donors can deduct contributions they
make under IRC Section 170. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522. You can download the certificates.

COMPLIMENTS AND COMPLAINTS
IamGSD welcomes suggestions on how to improve our activities and will give prompt and serious attention to any concerns. We anticipate that most issues will be resolved quickly by an informal approach. However, we have procedures for dealing with concerns and aim for a satisfactory conclusion for all involved.

What is IamGSD?
We are a patient-led international group encouraging efforts by research and medical professionals, national support groups and individual patients worldwide.
What is Muscle GSD?
Human bodies make glucose from carbohydrates. Excess glucose is stored as glycogen in our skeletal muscles and our liver. Muscle GSD is when there is a problem with storing glycogen in muscle or with extracting glucose again to power the muscles.
